thumbsup.gif Eric Massa is an @$$ hole!!!!

# 3. 11/2/06 1:40 AM by dave - Greece, NY
All of the columns you are writing to elect republicans are not working for me. John Kerry almost got me back to the GOP. If Tom Reynolds would write a column detailing what he will do for conservative republicans I might give him another chance. If he can not do that then i will stay home on Tuesday.

Some guy running for Congress is corrupt and thinks he is above the law. How is that unusual? Isn't this sort of thing a rite of passage for most congressvermin?

# 5. 11/2/06 6:11 AM by Dave H - Rochester, NY
thumbsup.gif Bob: Right on! Massa is being revealed, thanks to your investigaton, for what he is-another cynical government cipher, injected into the congresssional race by the donkey turd party, for the benefit of their own ilk.Lets hope that the voters of our state reject Massa and his fellow gang members-the Democratic Party.Dave

# 6. 11/2/06 6:17 AM
When you interviewed Massa he seemed like a phony. His feigned emotional breakdown about the troops for the benefit of an audience he knew was mostly conservative was a little overacted and a little insulting.

# 7. 11/2/06 6:39 AM by Chuck - Penfield
Bob,

So he is a liar and a criminal.....I guess that makes him not only qualified to be a politician but a perfect representative for New York. Maybe he and the comptroller can compare notes! Don't these charges actually earn you bonus points in the democrat party?

# 8. 11/2/06 6:43 AM by CE - Rochester
thumbsup.gif Eric Massa is a complete scumbag. That idiot John Kerry should be slapped around. What a moron. I can't believe that people actually voted for him to be our president! Imagine that stupid, pancake of a supposed male, running our country. He would make those friggin tulips from France seem tough. What a cowardly little wuss. i hope he keeps talking though. Even the other other libs are getting tired of him. Maybe soon he'll be entirely out of politics and we won't have to look at his dopey smug horseface any longer.

Editor's Note: the lesson of this event is sometimes you say something stupid. if you're a gentleman -- or a lady -- you admit it, sincerely apologize for it and go on. first he lied -- saying he was talking about bush -- then he weaseled by issuing his apology in print.

# 9. 11/2/06 7:25 AM
Eric Masshole!!!

Re: The poll - how stupid are your readers that they really think Kerry, a vet, was mocking men and women in the service? Are these people really that dumb?

Wait..they agree with you. So yes, they are.

Oh, and Massa spent decades in the service, unlike his scumbag opponent.

Support the troops - vote Democratic.

# 11. 11/2/06 7:29 AM by Adam - rochester ny
Bob, I think that Massa might not be the only democrat committing perjury, I found on nancy pelosi's website a document called "a new direction for America" detailing what the dems are going to do when they get back congress this year. I didn't know a plan like this existed from them. Funny how what they say here is vastly different from what they do, more lies to get back power. I think that all your readers should check it out it's quite very enlightening

Editor's Note: though, if she's got it on her website, for all the world to see, she's not really hiding it, is she?

# 12. 11/2/06 7:31 AM
...and he also called our troops dumb.

Editor's Note: massa didn't

# 13. 11/2/06 7:41 AM by Doug
thumbsup.gif YES!!!!

# 14. 11/2/06 7:50 AM by Job - West Falls, NY
Editor's Note: massa didn't

I know Massa didn't bash our troops. I was trying to make a joke. I guess I just botched it.

Editor's Note: nicely done

# 15. 11/2/06 7:51 AM
Name that tune...

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown,"

Editor's Note: not familiar with it, and am too lazy to google. who was it?

thumbsup.gif Good morning Bob,

Just read an article on the D&C's web site on this topic. The article is night and day to your analysis. I tend to believe your side of the story simply due to the fact that you have researched it pretty thoroughly. The D&C's article throws a lot of trash at Mazza's campaign manager. Any chance you could forward them the court documents you obtained. Might give them some true perspective of what is really going on.

thumbsup.gif AMEN BOB! RIGHT ON BROTHER! SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THIS MASSA FELLA HAS GOT HIS PRIORITIES MESSED UP! 121

thumbsup.gif 40,000,000 people thought John Kerry should be our president. How scary is that.

Do you think, if Kerry won, that George Bush would be out there "botching" jokes about John Kerry.

One of these men has class, the other.....

Editor's Note: neither one of them ought to seek employment as a comedian

# 19. 11/2/06 8:11 AM by Bud - Rochester, NY
thumbsup.gif Bob -- this should be troubling enough for this candidate, but your on-air recounting of the investigation by someone of your person after they signed for the documents at the clerk's office is particularly creepy. What sort of goons are involved in Massa's campaign when even journalists are subjected to intimidation and bullying like this?

Editor's Note: a day after the person i sent to the courthouse got me the documents, the person was tracked in two states and inquired about 3,000 miles away. makes me wonder who the clerks office told and why -- shouldn't that be confidential? -- and what interest anyone would have in spying on a reporter.

# 20. 11/2/06 8:16 AM by Maryanne Cameron - Penn Yan, NY
thumbsup.gif I was skeptical of a person coming into this area from the 'left' coast to try to represent us, and this article just reaffirmed my initial gut feeling after meeting Mr. Massa. As slick as a used car salesman (is that politically correct?) his rapid fire command of the issues left my head spinning. Thank you for getting the truth out there, the D & C article once again didn't get the whole story.

What ever you do vote on Tuesday. I feel the same way you do and its a case of the best of the worst ,which is usually the way. Many fine Americans gave their lives just so we could pull that lever . I was considering not voting , Kerry and his crew do not want a military and dishonor the one we have. I do not want to take that chance .So I will VOTE!!

# 22. 11/2/06 8:17 AM by John - Rochester, NY
Bob,

Who is Eric Massa he and where did he come from? I never heard of him before the TV ads started.

Editor's Note: he's a carpetbagger who came into a district a democratic analysis said was winnable

# 23. 11/2/06 8:22 AM
Name that tune...

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown,"

Editor's Note: not familiar with it, and am too lazy to google. who was it?

john kerry wrote the above "...poor and the black..." in response to a questionaire from a peace group while he was running for congress back in the early 70's. it's on DRUDGE right now. he additionally wrote that an all volunteer army is the worse possible solution, to paraphrase him.

good work, bob. keep it up!!

# 24. 11/2/06 8:36 AM by rjs - Rochester, NY
thumbsup.gif A politican lying? Come now Bob, you know that can't happen. All of them are our elected officals and as so could NEVER lie. Other tha maybe,: "I didn't have sex with that woman", and "I didn't inhale".

Why is anyone surprised about politicians lying, cheating, accepting kickbacks and favors ?? It is the nature of the beast. It's very sad but very true.

# 27. 11/2/06 8:51 AM
Massa is better than the cronies who blindly support an idiot who sends people off to war to fight for his own vengeful ideas. We all know who and what Bush is - and history in 20 years will reveal the evil and disgusting truth about him.

# 28. 11/2/06 8:55 AM by SB - Honeoye
thumbsup.gif Is it legal for a campaign to pull money out of their coffers to pay for apartment damages, etc.? I'm wondering if any federal finance laws were violated.

Re Kerry questioner

In 1972, as he ran for the House, he was less apologetic in his comments about the merits of a volunteer army. He declared in the questionnaire that he opposed the draft but considered a volunteer army "a greater anathema."

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.'

"Equally as important, a volunteer army with our present constitutional crisis takes accountability away from the president and put the people further from control over military activities," he wrote.

# 30. 11/2/06 9:10 AM by SB - Honeoye
thumbsup.gif Gee, do you think the Communist Party of NYS will help Massa in his hour of need? Just asking...

# 31. 11/2/06 9:12 AM by Steve
I sent you an email once when this guys was on your show telling you he's an unstable psycho.

Hmmm this proves my point.

As a side, can we just once have an adult run for office?

# 32. 11/2/06 9:13 AM by Thomas - Rochester, Ny
thumbsup.gif Whether he committed perjury or whether his affidavit is true he should cancel his bid for election to congress immediately. The guy is scum and should not be allowed to continue his campaign.

# 33. 11/2/06 9:14 AM by Sue
We need to start hanging the politicians.

R's or D's the middle class gets screwed.

Editor's Note: figuratively speaking, of course, in both regards.

# 34. 11/2/06 9:16 AM by Mark
Why should it matter what Kerry said? He is not running for office. Let's vote for the best people for the jobs and cut the crap!

# 35. 11/2/06 9:26 AM by Pete
Bob, Thumbs up to your column today but thumbs down to this dyslexic idiot.

# 10. 11/2/06 7:28 AM by Don - Holly Re: "The poll - how stupid are your readers that they really think Kerry, a vet, was mocking men and women in the service? Are these people really that dumb? Support the troops - vote Democratic".

I am sorry Don but the words “Support the Troops” and “Vote Democratic” is an Oxymoron, a contradiction in terms or whatever the hell you want to call it!

I am 55 and come from the Vietnam era. I am sorry to say this but do you know how many people out there that had served in the Armed forces of the past could give a crap about what goes on in the services right now?

Read up on Kerry’s supposed military record. Was Kerry in NAM yes, but that doesn’t make anyone a patriot of this Country or Armed forces. You are a useless Liberal, democratic puppet! John Kerry was and still is an opportunistic bastard and the only one John Kerry is interested in, is John Kerry!

There is no way in HELL, whether or not it was a Bush bashing or a miss-speak, Kerry never should have tried to make the subject of the joke President Bush or the object of the Joke our Troops in Iraq.

Don, you never have served have you, and if you did you have never been in harms way have you? You insolent mindless piece of wasted oxygen, think about it.

You have no idea how sensitive our troops are to what America thinks about our people in Iraq, well you piece of crap I DO…………….because of Vietnam.

“Support the Troops” and “Vote Democratic” is a completely mindless statement of someone who has no clue!

# 36. 11/2/06 9:44 AM by Al Neill - Richmond, VA
As to your poll, I don't see how Kerry could possibly say it was intended to be a knock on the president. He was addressing students, so what were the possible points?

1) Bush didn't work hard in school, and if you don't work hard then darn it you will end up as President. Yeah that would be so bad...

2) He, Kerry worked hard in school, unlike that Dunce Bush. Except that doesn't work either; Kerry went to the same college, and his GPA was the same or LOWER than Bush's.

So either way that flub of a "planned" joke doesn't really wash because the joke doesn't work in either of those contexts.

# 37. 11/2/06 9:45 AM
Editor's Note: not familiar with it, and am too lazy to google. who was it?

John Kerry...who else?

# 38. 11/2/06 9:48 AM by Medulla
I'm glad you wrote this story. People need to know.

Now protect you and yours and wind those jerks from the clerk's office into pretzels for releasing the name of your helper. Make a big stink. It's ridiculous that a name had to be given to get those documents in the first place.

Editor's Note: exactly

thumbsup.gif You are sure a cocksure arrogant S.O.B.

# 40. 11/2/06 10:17 AM by sara - Ohio
The lack of intelligence here is not having enough sense to JUST pay your employee what you owe him so this sort of stuff doesn't have to be brought to the surface. Sounds to me like he is lacking "common sense".

# 41. 11/2/06 10:19 AM by George - Gananoque Ontario CANADA
With Kerry's history of negative statements and outright attacks against the United States Of America's armed forces, his service in them cannot be used to justify and or excuse his latest statements. Heaven knows that those who stand as his apologists are the same people who parse every sentence and word that President Bush has ever spoken.

Kerry said what he said. Period.

Sorry, but claiming that "I was only joking." is not good enough. If I published that Bob Lonsberry was a child molester in the D+C I am quite sure that he would not accept that excuse.

Neither should, in this case, the American Public

# 42. 11/2/06 10:24 AM by Ron
thumbsup.gif The fact that Kerry first said he nothing to apologize for, then went and apologized PROVES he is a liar. He couldn't be telling the truth both times.

# 43. 11/2/06 10:28 AM by Mark
thumbsup.gif The identity of an individual making a request for public information is part of the public record and is subject to release upon request. However, a government employee running to the phone and reporting such a request on his own accord is out of line. I wonder if a review of the office phone logs would be in order.

# 44. 11/2/06 11:02 AM by Tim - Rochester, NY
thumbsup.gif I didn't think there was anything Eric Massa could do that would make him a bigger d0#$%bag. I stand corrected.

thumbsup.gif Thanks for getting this information out. I'm not surprised with the NY Comunist Party endorsement and now this - What will it take to wake up the Voters in this district? Massa is Bad News!

# 47. 11/2/06 11:12 AM by Sue
I seem to recall seeing your wife in a pair of D&G sunglasses. How on earth does a fashion conscious woman like herself end up with a guy who can't even match his shoes to his belt???? How on earth does a small town, Wal-Mart shopping, farm boy end up thinking he should marry a woman who wears designer fashion?

Do us all a favor and let your wife dress you from now on.

# 48. 11/2/06 11:19 AM by aj - Walworth, NY
Kerry makes me sick. Watch the look on his face telling this joke, then when he hears the laughs, then when he realizes maybe it wasn't funny after all..

The best joke though was the way he started blaming everyone else for what he said. From saying it was the scriptor, blaming the writer. "Oh, wait, I meant that joke about Bush - now it's ok, right? You mean it isn't?...PANIC"

I think his ingenuity in trying to blame the joke on Bush is perfect.... like Mary Jo wouldn't have drowned if she had stayed out of Kennedy's car, it obviously is her own fault..

Kerry will say anything to run Bush down and make himself look good. He doesn't care who he denigrates because it isn't his own fault.

I expect to hear Flip Wilson saying "the devil made me tell that joke" next.

Hopefully in the next few days, the Dems will continue to show their true colors as the most unAmerican political party ever.

Typing this with one hand after shoulder surgery earlier this week....

Hey # 27

Yes, you the Massa Plant? I am sure it must have been difficult to read a coherent analysis of the facts/affidavits.

I believe it is telling that the best response that can be mustered by the Massa commune is to attach George Bush.

What in all truth, has GWB have to do with your candidate lying under oath???? Wow- that is just plain delusional.

I think you may have your presidents mixed up- the last Pres that lied under oath was President Clinton.

# 50. 11/2/06 11:30 AM by Ellem N. Opie
Accurately portrays the definition of a politician. So what else is new? Liar, cheater, misrepresenter. Politics is all smoke and mirrors. Can't wait until we string them all up in the town square like the Mussolinis. Our trains and planes don't run on time anyway.
